InStream Announces the Acquisition of Infotek
From our press release:
Nashville, TN, December 8, 2011—Knoxville-based Infotek, Inc., a leading integrator of enterprise content management (ECM) systems throughout Eastern Tennessee has been acquired by InStream LLC, the leading provider of ECM, Check 21, mailroom outsourcing, and healthcare payer automation solutions throughout the Southeast and beyond.
With this acquisition, Infotek's strength in automating corporate invoice processing, accounts receivable and HR processes is a nice compliment to InStream's strength in serving financial services and healthcare institutions. As a result, the new InStream now offers deeper bench strength in the areas of business process analysis, integration and client support throughout Tennessee and the Southeast. InStream also now offers cloud document management and workflow, mobile business applications, and document capture for Microsoft SharePoint that incorporates technology from FileBound, EMC, Cardiff, Capsys, Kodak, Canon, Digital Check, Panini, and Ricoh.
According to Mark Hinson, founder and president of InStream, "At Infotek, nothing has changed. All the same great people are managing their current clients and book of business. At InStream, our ECM solutions are supplemented by high-volume OCR and forms processing, customized workflow solutions, and ApplicationXtender integration with accounting and ERP systems."
Hinson goes on to say, "The consolidation of back-end administrative functions allows us to offer these solutions and services in a more cost-effective manner for our clients. We're excited to be working side-by-side with the Infotek team, serving a common purpose."
Glenn Leonard, president of Infotek, added: "I've known Mark Hinson and InStream for 12 years. We share many of the same qualities and corporate culture, while complimenting each other's strengths in ECM solutions and territories served. Specifically, this is an opportunity to provide our clients with much-needed Check 21, mailroom and lockbox outsourcing, healthcare enrollment automation, and customized FileBound workflows and ERP integration."
